Helping out

People often kindly ask us - "How can I help?" - Here are some suggestions:

Join the 100 Club

The 100 Club is a fun way to support the Wildlife Centre and creatures... and you'll have an opportunity in the TEN MONTHLY DRAWS to win from a prize-fund of £500.

Simply click here to print off an application form, or contact Megan at Cuan House - 01952 728070.

The "100 Club" is now a year old, and a list of the lucky prize draw winners from the last season can be seen by clicking here.

Fetes and Stalls

Come and support our events. Click here for a full list of dates.
  • Could you organise and run a stall at a fete yourself?
  • Could you make or supply cakes, jams, preserves for sale on a stall?
  • Can you collect and bring Items to sell on new or nearly new stalls (not clothing or electrical items) - e.g Bric-a-brac, books, toys, tapes, videos, plants etc.?

Raffles

We hold raffles once or twice a year, with excellent prizes donated by supporters.
  • Buy Tickets!
  • Could you donate any new (or like new) items for prizes?
  • Could you sell tickets to family, or friends at work/school/evening class? - Let us know if you are willing to sell tickets!

Coffee Mornings

Could you hold a coffee morning or other home-based event? - we'll always assist anyone who would like to help with raising funds.

Sponsorship

Could your business or company sponsor us in any way?

Transport

We always need additional people to
  • Collect injured birds and mammals and bring them to us.
  • Release them (normally to the same area) after recovery.

Food supplies

  • Complan - always needed for feeding sick swans, e.g. from lead poisoning, or badgers with face or mouth injuries.
  • The eternal tins of Cat Food! Hedgehogs are fussy little eaters, so best to check with us first which varieties are best.
  • We could really use a Shopper - someone to help with the weekly shopping for animal foods!

New Ideas

Do you have any other fund raising suggestions?
