The RSPCA

Few people appreciate that each Branch is a Charity in its own right under the auspices of the Head Office, and also that each Branch must undertake to do its own fund-raising. When we say, therefore, that Cuan House is supported by the RSPCA, what we mean is that it is the Shropshire Branch that supports us. Their Committee, apart from their part-time Co-ordinator, is comprised entirely of volunteers, who have to raise the funds, themselves, to support appropriate animal organisations in their area.

As I say, I feel this is often not fully appreciated by the general public, which is why I should like to emphasise my sincere thanks for the generous financial support they have given us for many years. In addition, it is always a constant pleasure to work as closely as we do with the local Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers.
